Scripture: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
Joseph’s journey was anything but easy. From his father’s favorite son to a slave in Egypt, and later a prisoner—nothing about his life looked like the dreams God had shown him. But through every twist and turn, God was leading him exactly where His promise would be fulfilled.
God’s plan for Joseph wasn’t just about Joseph—it was about saving a nation, feeding his family, and glorifying God’s name. What seemed like setbacks were actually stepping stones, preparing him for leadership in the right place, at the right time.
Reflection: Sometimes God’s leading takes us through dry wells, closed doors, or seasons of waiting. It may not look like the promise, but each step is part of the path. The place where God is leading you is the very place His promise will be fulfilled.
Prayer:
Lord, help me to trust Your leading, even when I don’t understand the path. Remind me that where You lead, Your promise awaits. Strengthen my heart to wait in faith and obey in love. Amen.
