HOW DO YOU LOOK AT YOURSELF?

Who you are is from within but we are often defined by how we look physically. If you have beautiful eyes and nice smile and all the physical things you are called amongst the most beautiful people ever. What about your heart? Have you ever thought of how your heart destroys even that beautiful face you got? If you are physically beautiful and have a cruel heart you realize that what people now say about you is that your beauty is fading. Beauty to me emanates from the inside of you and spreads for everyone to see. I remember some years ago a man visited our home and while he was looking at the pictures he called a girl in those pictures virtuous. I asked him why he called her virtuous and he said that’s what he saw when he looked at that picture. PRAYER AND DECLARATIONS FOR 2024

It’s December 2023 and I must admit that, so much has happened thus far, not only in my life but also in my family. I know it has been more than a year since I posted a blog post on this and I want to appreciate many of you who still showed up from time to time on the blog. Thank you because this gesture encouraged to write even though I never posted any on the blog. I know your aim of checking on the blog is to find new updates which weren’t available. To tell you the truth, between March 2022, that I lastly posted up to this year 2023, I have had to deal with several challenges. Some of those challenges left me depressed for some time, I struggled anxiety and my mental health wasn’t so good. Just when I started praying every day at midnight and finding strength in God, I lost my elder brother suddenly in August 2023 and this has left me very confused about life. It is commonly said that “life is not a bed of roses” it’s not a lie but with the help of the Holy Spirit we have strength

WHO IS A FRIEND? PT 2

Yesterday, we started with 3 qualities of a friend and today we will go ahead with the rest 3which are as follows; A friend forgives your short comings: When you hurt your friend and apologize, you both make peace. There are friends who will tell you they cannot forgive what you have done. A friend acknowledges that you were wrong and no matter how long it takes, he/she finds it in their hearts to forgive you. I have done that to some friends, one was a girl who stammers and I used it to mock her when we have a fight and the other was a timid person while I was a little outgoing, I made mockery of her hairdo and other things when I am with other friends. I later realized that and seriously regretted all that I did to those friends.
