Recently, there’s been a lot of panic almost worldwide
because of COVID-19 aka Corona virus. People are living in absolute fear of the
unknown, while others are busy releasing prophecies of doom. Every day I come
across strange things written by ‘Christians’ on social media about God
punishing the world or the world coming to an end; blah, blah, blah. That’s a
lot of negativity spreading and with more and more people living in fear. I
have this to start with, God is love and that is my assurance. God manifested
His love towards us in that he sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ into the
world that we might live through Him (1 john 4:7, 9-10KJV). There’s no side of
God that He can reveal to us apart from His love. Verse 19 of 1John 4 reminds
us that He first loved us and because of that dear brethren in Christ don’t
believe in any prophecy of doom; our God is a good Father.
Colossians 3:3 “For ye are dead and your life is hid with
Christ in God”. When Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary, He took on flesh and
blood representing all mankind in Himself (John 1:14). He was crucified as all mankind;
he died and rose from the grave after 3days and nights as all mankind. In His
resurrection, He brought forth the New Man which John describes as men who are
not born of the will of man but who are born of God (John 1:12-13) Apostle Paul
tells us in Ephesians 2:15 “Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the
law of commandments contained in ordinances, for to make in Himself of twain
one new man, so making peace”. Amen! In
Him we’re secure because He made us One with His God and Father who is now ours
as well. Your life is hid in Christ from every calamity that may want to come
near you or your dwelling (Psalm 91:1-3). Because you’re hid in Christ, you’re
preserved, delivered and protected from any plague or diseases. In Christ
you’re above, over and beyond every trace of whatsoever may want to corrupt
your body and bring destruction. You’re victorious in Him and you have overcome
everything negative that wants to cloud your mind from looking up to your
sustainer, Jesus Christ. The Father and God of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
is faithful and he will never put you to shame because you trust in Him. He
will not let any harm come to you neither will it come to your household. You
will live and not die to declare the marvelous works of our Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ. Be encouraged brethren in Christ, our God is for us and with us;
He has gone ahead and has freed the world of this disease. We declare as the
sons of God that the mercies of Jesus Christ have prevailed over the nations of
the earth in Jesus’ Name, Amen!
We’re preserved in Christ Jesus our Lord!!!
