Some years ago, i read the story of what came to be known as "The Lucky Warrior" and here is the story. There was a young man who was very brave and was chosen as a warrior in the army. Whenever he went for war, he came back alive and with little or no wounds. Many people noticed that and asked him how he does it, he smiled and said "I'm the lucky warrior". One time he went for war and came back seriously wounded and when he was asked what happened this time. His reply was "at least i didn't die because i'm still the lucky warrior". Now while he was still taking treatment for his wounds, their camp was raided by a hostile tribe who used other humans for sacrifice to their gods. These hostile men took with them everyone that was without many wounds and the lucky warrior wasn't taken because of his wounds. When the warrior was joined by the others, he still said "if i wasn't hurt i would have served as sacrifice to strange gods but now i'm still the lucky warrior after all. It may sound funny but this warrior believed above all things which i believe is the attitude we should have at all times. Jesus never promised us a life without trials but he promised us we will overcome and we overcome by living conscious of His love and how it is capable of turning anything to our advantage. The promises of God in Christ are 'Yes' and 'Amen', and God has already said yes to all that we have said yes to. He said in Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose". Since you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you now belong to Him. You are born again, you have received His Life and nature. You are called by His name and because He is, you are.
You are now the son/daughter of the ever living God, an heir of salvation and joint-heirs with Christ. You are totally and 'completely' forgiven for Christ has justified you and you are free. Everyday the mercies of god are abundant in your favor. I declare with hands lifted up "whatever is diminished in my life, i receive the boundless mercy of God to replenish every need, to prevent me from failing and avoid calamity. I am safe and preserved in His unconditional love for me in the Name of Jesus. Amen. God is for you and so it doesn't matter what or who is against you. God with you is a majority. No matter what you face today and every other day, be conscious of one thing, it can only work for your good. The Lord has gone ahead of you and He has made every crooked path straight, He has taken care of every obstacle you'll face. The Psalmist said "though my heart may fail, my strength may fail, the love of God stand s forever". He is your restorer and He can never fail you. Now picture this, it's in Christ you live and move and have your being, He is your life (Acts 17:28, Colossians 3:3-4). Wherever He is, you are and whatever he does, you are in Him. Now, tell me how can you possibly ever be in a place of disadvantage? It is Christ at work in you and for you. You're more a conqueror in Christ which means you will face adverse situations in life but you'll certainly emerge victorious because all things are working for your good.
