TOGETHER LET US PRAY FOR CAMEROON

Some years ago, precisely 2013/2014 while i was praying i saw the picture of the map of Cameroon sealed with the colors of the flag and right away i discerned in my inner man that i had to pray for Cameroon. Two weeks later, while i was in my office at work, i saw a similar picture on the door and like the last time i prayed again. I can't honestly tell you praying for Cameroon became my top prayer point but i remember praying when it comes to mind. Two years ago, a crisis started almost like a strike and turned to something that has been claiming lives in the English speaking regions of Cameroon. You remember in my previous post i had promised to explain why i wasn't posting regularly. I am an indigene of the North West Region which is faced with this crisis and i recently paid a visit to my mom who lives and works there. Over there, there are days when some activities are withheld in the city for security reasons and when this happens everywhere is locked. I don't work from home and so when this happens cybercafés are closed i can hardly work. Another of those reasons is electricity problems, weak or no internet connection and more and that's why i was a little inconsistent: my apologies still.
What i want us to do in this time as believers in Christ and a family is that we pray for the nation of Cameroon. People are afraid to visit their families in those regions affected by what has become known as the "THE ANGLOPHONE CRISIS", some have left their homes and now live in bushes, others have lost dear ones and are very depressed. A lot has happened already but we have God; He is true and He is faithful. I believe that as we consistently proclaim the mercies of God over this nation, there will be peace. In Esther 4:14b, she was reminded by mer uncle Mordecai that maybe it was for a time like this (a time of trial) that she was made queen. Now, we know we're foreordained and chosen from the foundation of the world to be in Christ and in a time like this to lift our voices in prayer. We belong to the God of peace, who has given us His peace to preserve and strengthen us. Another very important aspect which should be included in our prayer points is the presidential election coming up in October this year. With the elections and the crisis necessity is laid on every Cameroonian no matter where you are to pray for our nation at this time. We declare God is our refuge, strength and protector at all times.
From today onwards, i encourage each one of us to devote at least 15- 60 minutes and even more as the Holy Spirit leads every day to pray in Tongues, not only for our nation but our leaders; that they should be influenced by the Holy Spirit. Please if you are reading this and you're not a Cameroonian, you can join us. Don't forget that praying in tongues is communing with God in His divine language; each time you pray in tongues, you are communicating mysteries and releasing the power of God in every sphere of your life. If you join us (for non-Cameroonians reading this) it will boost your prayer life too because when we pray we're expressing our humility and total dependence on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Paul instructed us to pray without ceasing and to rejoice. When we pray we are showing our total dependence on God as our Father. Together as the church of Jesus Christ and as a family and a nation we declare that "Jesus Christ is Lord over all". Will conclude with this verse "Now may the Lord of peace Himself grant you His peace at all times and in every way [that peace and spiritual well-being that comes to those who walk with Him, regardless of life's circumstances.] The Lord be with you all 2 Thessalonians 3:16. Bible verses: 1 Timothy 2:1-3, Romans 13:1-3, Psalms 46: 6-7.

 You are blessed in Christ!
