Back in December, i encouraged each one of us to spend at least 30 minutes daily to pray in Tongues. Yes, i would like to remind us of that commitment because it's a wonderful way to commune with God. The more you speak in Tongues, the more we are conscious of our identity in Christ. Speaking in Tongues makes you to rejoice irrespective of your situation in life. This morning while i was praying in Tongues, i realised that i was making confessions of faith and it was all encapsulated in my identity and my oneness with Christ which is a New Testament way of prayer. As Christ is presently seated at the Right Hand of the Father, we are in Him. Prayerfully meditate on what Christ is now. He is perfect and complete and we are complete in Him, He did not remain in the grave, He was resurrected after 3 days and nights in the grave by the Divine powers of the Godhead; He is alive and we are alive in Him. He was beaten, bruised and pierced on the cross, He died and after his resurrection, He is made whole and we're whole in Him. He is Highly favored and so are we in Him. He has been lavished abundantly with all good and beautiful things and we have been made one with Him. We are the righteousness of God in christ and we are beyond condemnation in Him. Jesus Christ who is our sanctifying high priest has redeemed and sanctified us in Himself. He is strong and we are strong in Him. He is the only begotten Son of God who became the Son of Man to make men sons of God. He is lord over all and we reign in life through Him. He became our fears, insecurities, shame and weaknesses that we might live free in Him. He became human that we may life the divine through Him; being enriched in all things and haviving knowledge of all things. We are secure and preserved because in keeping Himself, He keeps us safe in Him.
What is revealed to us of God is what we behold of Him and of our selves.We didn't earn our salvation it is a free gift bestowed on us by the Father in His Son Jesus Christ. As we see ourselves in Him, we become more and more conscious that we are not weak or ordinary Christians. We are sons of God in the 'stricto senso' of the word; He engendered us through his Word. We are the seed of Abraham which is Christ our Lord and Saviour. In him we live and move and have our being; we are His offspring. We have been made so much more than we know and i pray the eyes of our understanding is enlightened to see this. We need to learn christ and unlearn religion to mature in our identity. We are more than conquerors and we are overcomers in this life. Christ has made us victorious by the blood of jesus Christ. We will never be in a place of disadvantage, we are above only and expanding in every good work. We are led and guided by the Spirit of the living God, assisted by Ministering spirits because we are heirs of Salvation. We are priviledged to serve the One True Living God, the Omnipotent God who is the God and father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He loves us eternally, unconditionally, immeasurably and there is nothing we can ever do that can make Him to stop loving us. We are blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
