JESUS BECAME OUR SHAME THAT WE MIGHT LIVE WITHOUT SHAME FOREVER

I was recently reading my notebook in which i write most of the thoughts that come to my mind and mostly what the Holy Spirit communicates through my inner man. I journal most of the thoughts i get during worship, prayer, when i am studying and at different times of my day. I have done this for a while now and i realised that it has help me understand what the Father is communicating through the Holy Spirit at a given point in time. So, while i was reading my notebook, i came across something i had written on shame and the Spirit of God opened the eyes of my understanding to so much on shame. It may sound a little weird but it has been the very reason why many of us are unable to accept the righteousness that comes from God alone. It has been the same reason why we have believed the wrong things about God and it has marred our understanding of His love for us. Most times we see ourselves as unworthy because of our pasts, our family backgrounds, our race, our physical look and more. We rarely see ourselves as worthy of the unconditional love of God and so we present all the excuses in our minds why God can not love us and try to alienate ourselves from His love. God does not condemn us in any way because the righteousness of God is the revelation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ became everything that we are when He was incarnate as man; He alone represented all of mankind in Himself because He was truly God and truly man. He became our shame, our inferiority complexes, our insecurities, our fears and He took all about that nature to its fullest extent and died with it on the cross and His death was the death of all of mankind. At His resurrection mankind was completely freed from the nature gotten from Adam that had shame, fear, inferiority complexes, insecurities because we have received the new nature He brought forth in His resurrection. In Christ we have become new creatures, born again in Him and we have been freed from all shame, fear, insecurities and inferiority complexes etc. Jesus became all that entails our pasts, that we may live in His peace and joy in the present and future. We are not defined by our weaknesses because He was crucified in weakness but He was resurrected in perfection (1 Corinthians 15: 42-49). Jesus Christ our resurrected king is the only one by which we can define ourselves; it's His life we are living and He has given us eternal life in himself( Galatians 2:20, Colossians 3:3). He has been made unto us wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30) and it pleased the Father to place us in His Beloved who is Jesus Christ thus we are sons in the Son (Ephesians 1:3-9).
It is thanks to our placement in Christ that we draw our sense of worthiness, and what the Father is persuaded of us is what He is persuaded of Christ because we are in Him. Come to think of it, if we became sinners in the sin of the one man Adam then we have been made righteoues in the once and forever atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ who is the Son of God (Romans 5:12-21, 1 Corinthians 15:21-22). In Christ our lives are not separate from His; He is Deity and He has made us divine (Colossians 3:3-4a). The more we see what Jesus did as what He did for us, with us and as us we will see ourselves in Him and the more we see ourselves in Him, the more we are transformed by what we behold of Him ( 2 Corinthians 3:18). We have received total and complete forgiveness of sin in the atoning sacrifice of  Jesus Christ, there is no condemnation unto us because we are in Christ (Romans 8:1). We are free from any curse of any sort because He became a curse for us that we might live free in Him. He is the only one in whom we can trace our genealogy and so we have been made worthy to receive the unconditional love of the Father in Him. If God is for us who can be against us (Romans 8:31). His mercies are always new and His grace is all sufficient for us. We have been included in the shared life of the Godhead, we are partakers of the divine nature, new creation created after righteousness, holiness and grace, a perculiar people begotten by God Himself. We are His temple, we are in Him and He is in us in a mutual indwelling (1Corinthians 3:16, Colossians 2:9). God is the sole Author of all that we are in Christ, we didn't earn it or merit it and so we don't need to insist on working to earn what has been freely given to us in Christ (Ephesians 2:8). We need to rest in the unconditional love of the Father for us revealed in Christ Jesus and communicated to us by the Holy Spirit that we may stand strong in our identity in Christ. We are loved by aneternal God of Love and it is His desire that we get to see how much He loves us. Jesus said it is finished andwe have been freed from  all shame forever. You are not inferior nor superior  to anyone because we are all sons of God(1 Corinthians 2:12, 1 John 4:15,17, 1 John 4: 4:13, 2 Corinthians3:18).

You rae Blessed!!!
