YOU ARE A WOMAN OF PURPOSE

A lot of women in the church today, feel that not all of them are called to fulfill some service in the body of Christ and thus they lag behind shyly believing they have nothing to offer for the growth of the church. The Father called you from the foundation of the world and foreordained you to be His own and so just knowing that your purpose is not of your making is important. To walk in purpose doesn’t mean you must be part of the five fold ministry, that is; Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Preacher and teacher. If you are a believer conscious that you are indwelled by Christ then you have a role to play in the body of Christ. Remember, God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself and not imputing sin on them (2 Corinthians 5:19) and so, we together co labor with Christ in reconciling the world to the Father. How? By spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every human in this world. In everything we do, that should be our prime motivation. The Holy Spirit was sent to reveal Christ in every regard and thus in whatever service we are called to render for the rising of the glorious church, it should reveal the person or finished works of Christ. Nothing you do for the spread of the Gospel is small, you may be one who lets the Spirit of Christ pray through you for the ministers of the Gospel, the saints of God in the household of faith, those who have not come to knowledge of the revelation of Jesus Christ as the Savior of mankind etc. When the Bible refers to saints as those who make up the body of Christ; look at your body, it has many different parts with different functions all to make up one person and that’s you. Think of the Body of Christ in the same sense (1 Corinthians 12:12-27). Your role in the body of Christ cannot be underestimated (by you) Christ Jesus lives in you and you can never be fruitless or ineffective. All you have to do is succumb to the power of His life in you and He will work the will of the Father through you.

There will be days when you will feel every effort you’re putting in to spread this Gospel is futile, you are not seeing any changes or you don’t feel encouraged. Don’t stop for the joy of the Lord if your strength. Keep pressing on because you have sown the seed and only the Holy Spirit convicts. You may be insulted or looked down on, don’t be moved. Do all that you can for the Gospel, do it with Joy. Jesus is the life in you. It is one unique and beautiful honor and privilege to proclaim the Gospel of Christ to men. You are representing God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ; the creator of all things visible and invisible, the eternal ever living God, the Father of light and life, the God who is blessed forever. Just being able to partake of His Life is more than a blessing and it’s enough for us to preach for everyone to hear. God became man for man’s sake, remember (1 John 2:2, 1 John 4:10, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Romans 5:8, Hebrews 2:14, 2 Peter 1:4).

Everything you need (spirit, soul and body) to be effective in the spread of the Gospel has been provided for in Christ Jesus. You don’t need to stand before thousands in a day to preach to show that you’re walking in purpose; you just need to smile at a member of your family who has not come to knowledge of the saving works of Christ, a neighbor or stranger and tell them about the love of Jesus Christ. You don’t need to be eloquent, too educated, industriuos, creative or anything of your own making (Philippians 2:13). He has chosen you to present Him to the world, don’t hold back or let what people say about you distract you from serving. Hold on to what God has revealed to you, fix your eyes on Jesus alone who is the Author of your faith. Grace is what distinguishes; don’t esteem yourself better than others. Let the world see Christ in you!

You’re blessed!!!
