COME OUT FROM BEHIND THE VEIL

Some nights ago while I was flipping through the different channels on TV, I came across a “Christian” channel and realized that so many Christians need to come out from behind the veil. I will paraphrase the definition of a veil as a cloth use for covering especially the face from direct contact. Do you know many Christians have covered their faces from having direct contact with the truth of God’s Word. They don’t give themselves to the things of God; they rely on what another person knows and has said about God. God purposed us to be in Him by placing us in His Son Jesus Christ that through Him we might have access to Him (Ephesians 1:4-8). After the resurrection of Jesus Christ when He met Mary Magdalene outside the tomb He said to her ..."tell my brethren...I ascend to my Father and your Father, My God and your God" thus declaring that we now belong to God's family and He has now become our Father. If God is now your Father, He doesn't condemn you but welcomes you in His presence. Don't let the guilt of your past hinder you from receiving and enjoying all that the Father has blessed you with. Watch out not to let your anticipation for the future stop you from living daily with the consciousness of God’s abundant love and Grace made available to you. If you are basing your understanding of God's love for you on your material possessions you are looking at what God can do for you and not Who He is in you, to you, for you, through you and with you. When I say come out from behind the veil what I mean is come out of that mindset that is shielding you from understanding how much God loves you. He is Love in Himself and if He says He has given you all things it only means one thing He has given you even what was most precious to Him; Jesus Christ (John 3:16). And thus, He has given us Himself.

Come out from that place where you see God as distant, uncaring, unloving and come into that place where all you see is His love for you (John 3:16). Come out from that place where all you see is condemnation and shame or hurt and pain and come into that place where you see yourself as God sees you no matter the circumstances. Rest in what God is persuaded about you; sanctified, adopted, reconciled to Him, justified by faith in Jesus Christ, redeemed, blessed (Romans 5:1-2, Ephesians 1:3, 1 Corinthians 6:11, 2 Corinthians 1:21-22). Come out from that place where you see yourself limited by height, distance, race etc and move into the realm of limitlessness (Philippians 4:13).Come out from that place where you think your life has no purpose and walk in all that God has called to be. Christ Lives in you and you have been planted in His life (Colossians 3:3). Come out from that place where you believe man is your intermediary with God and see Jesus as your Mediator, High Priest, Intercessor, Apostle and Advocate. Jesus is Lord over all forever!
You Are Blessed!
