Jesus became man in His incarnation and in Him was all of humanity . Even as a baby, He carried the fullness of God in Him. He walked the earth as the God-man, the only substitute of mankind (the only begotten of the Father, John 1:14). In His death by crucifixion, was the death of all of humanity and in His resurrection was the new birth of all of humanity. In the death of Jesus Christ sin and death were abolished and in His resurrection(after 3 days in the grave) became our living hope (1 Peter 1:3 AMP Blessed [gratefully praised and adored] be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant and
boundless mercy has caused us to be born again [that is, to be reborn
from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart for His
purpose] to an ever-living hope and confident assurance through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. If we were made incarnate in Him, then we died with Him and if we died with Him, then we resurrected together with Him and thus His victory is our victory. We have been justified in Him (Romans 4:25) , redeemed in Him, freed from sin and death in Him and we have received what only the Father can give which is in His Son JESUS and that is RIGHTEOUSNESS. At the resurrection of Jesus Christ the first message He sends to His disciples was one of inclusion into the Family of God (John 20:17). In this resurrection of Jesus Christ came our new nature and that is our DIVINE NATURE; God's nature, His eternal life is now in us (Romans 8:11, Galatians 4:6,). If Jesus didn't resurrect the Holy Spirit wouldn't have come to certify that we now belong to God Almighty and He is the Seal of God's Promise fulfilled. Jesus is alive and He is alive FOREVER and He is the live in us. The tomb is empty because Jesus is Risen. Let us therefore celebrate Easter conscious of what we have received through the resurrection of Jesus Christ who is our Savior and Lord and He reigns as King forever (Hebrews 1:3-4)!
