Two years ago, while preparing for Christmas and the New Year i got an idea of making my own gifts for my loved ones. Though i bought some things, i had some made as well. Amongst the gifts i made were paper bookmarks with Bible verses. I shared them with my colleagues at work, friends and family. You just needed to take your pick especially on the 31 December morning or after that time. I loved it because it helped me share the love of Christ with many people. This time around i didn't get to make it because i will share the love of God here on the blog with each one of you. You have become so dear to my heart that the gift i offer to you daily are prayers. I pray for your welbeing and for an understanding of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The prayer-gift i have for you all not only during Christmas is for you to live in the evidences of the Gospel of Jesus and for you to rejoice daily, celebrating the love of our Father and refusing to look at the distractions surrounding you. God is all that we are and have and when we let circumstances decipher how happy or sad we will be, we are therefore ignoring His life in us. The greatest gift ever given to mankind is Jesus Christ, the Son of God, in Him we have everything and even His life in us. We should base more on the finished works of Jesus. You are blessed with all blessing in Christ Jesus and your lives are preserved through your union with Him. I also pray that you will be led by the Spirit of God to a Ministry that teaches the Gospel of Jesus Christ that you may know and understand the mystery of our union with the Godhead. It is only through revelation knowledge that we can know our Identity in Christ and that the eyes of your understanding might be enlightened to understand and live the life of God which is in you. That you may know how precious and worthy you are to the Father and how ready and available He is to do all that we ask or think of according to His mighty power at work in us.
