GOD’S WORD IS TRUE

A person is known by his words and you are known by the words you speak. It’s the same with God; we know God through the Bible which is His Word. This word gives life, this Word delivers, it heals, and it accomplishes anything you send it out to accomplish. Before we came to know about God and His Word we were ruled by our senses, we spoke words of defeat, confusion, weakness, discouragement, ill health. Now we know the Word of God and yet we still live in defeat and discouragement. Do you know why? Because we have denied the integrity of the Word of God! And denying the integrity of the Word is as good as saying “it is not for you” and saying it is not for you, is saying in other words it is not TRUE. John 1:1 says “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God”. Does that bring anything to your mind? God is His Word, the two cannot be separated. It further says in verse 3 that “the same was with Him from the beginning, with Him all things were made and without Him nothing was made that was made”, that’s the Word. During creation in the beginning, God spoke words and everything we see today came into existence. God is all powerful and He is His Word. Everything God told the prophets of old will happen happened accordingly. God commanded ravens to feed Elijah in the valley and they did. When you are faced with trials of life, don’t jump into the conclusion that God’s Word is not authentic. Be personal with the Word of God; take it as if it said only to you and you will experience the power of it. When God performed the mighty miracles He did for the Israelites did He go back to His Words? The Bible says that God is not a man that He should lie nor the son of man to change His mind (Number 23:19). Do you want to know why? God does not speak to please, He doesn’t joke with His Words. God’s Words are Yes and Amen (2 Corinthians 1:20) and Jesus said “the Words that I speak are spirit and life (John 6:63). He knew the power on His lips. The Bible in Hebrews 4:12 says “For the Word of God is quick, powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart”. No Word from God is void of power of fulfillment.

What makes us doubt God’s Word is because we don’t seem to accept the fact that it is for us and everything Jesus did was for us. In John 3:16, we see that God sent His only begotten son to die for our sins and He did it because of His love for us. John 1:12 says that as many as received Him, to them gave He the power to become sons of God. And Jesus became everything that you will ever be, sickness, weakness, confusion, discouragement, curse etc so that you can become the righteousness of God in Christ. When you have any pain in your body, speak the Word of God upon it because it is the final Word (i have done it countless times and it works perfectly). Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and because He lives in you, sickness cannot dwell in your body. Remember, the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God Almighty and He’s the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead. That Spirit cannot be living inside of you and you are battling sickness. Jesus has made you whole by His power at work in you. Ephesians 1:3 says we are blessed with all spiritual blessing in heavenly places in Christ. You are on mount Sion, the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem and in the company of innumerable Angels. Beloved, You are totally and completed surrounded by God (Colossians 3:3). You are His beloved and the fruits of the redemption. You are the light of the world; a city built on the hill that cannot be hidden and you are the salt of the earth.

All I want you to see is how much God loves us and how He has bestowed so many privileges on us in Christ. Jesus said “I am the way, the truth and the life; no one comes to the Father except by me”. Yes, we have found the way which is Jesus but what about the truth? There, most of us seem to have a problem because we think the Word of God was speaking to the churches in Ephesus, Corinth, Galatia, Thessalonica, Philippi etc. The Word of God was written for you and me; it is God! God is His Word and so when the Word says “In My Name shall ye cast out demons, heal the sick, raise the dead, set captives free”. The Word on your lips with faith in your heart does the impossible. When I talk of faith, I mean something that stems from your spirit and you doing everything as Jesus would in that place; so, faith is standing in Jesus’ stead. When you look at your humanity, you are handicapped by limitations when you look at yourself as one with God, you are invincible. God’s nature has been imparted in your spirit, you are one with Him, and you have His nature and divinity in you. Everything you need and will ever need is found in the Word of God. It is true and it is PERFECT. The Bible tells us that “you shall know the truth and it shall make you free” (John 8:32) hold on to God’s Word as if your life depended on it because it actually does. Only the truth of God’s Word can make you enjoy your rights and privileges as a son of God. Fill your spirit with the Word of God until it’s all you can think or say. Soak in the presence of God as often as you can; first through the Bible, and then through prayer and Worship. Halleluiah!!!
