WHY I BELIEVE YOU SHOULD CALL GOD FATHER ALWAYS

I once heard the story of a boy who loved his father so much and he knew and was certain his father loved him even more. Every time he left home for school his father will remind him of how much he loves him and will always protect him. One day this little boy went to school and the building collapsed and he fell in a deep hole with some other kids. The others kids were crying and screaming, they were terrified except this kid. They looked at him and asked him why he wasn't terrified about what has happened and what may happen to them, he told them that he knows his father will do anything to find them and bring them to a safe place. He told these kids that no matter how long it will take he knows his father will come to their rescue. They were amazed and some wondered to themselves if his father was some superhero. Few minutes passed and they saw this young man's father actively participating in bringing all of them to safety and once they were all safe, the boy hugged his father and said "I knew you will come for me" and the father said in return "I'll do anything for you my beloved son". Does this story sound familiar to you? In Genesis 1:1 God reveals Himself to us as the creator of Heaven and Earth "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth". And further in Genesis He reveals Himself as "The Lord who provides" Genesis 22:14. Further in Exodus 17:15 God reveals Himself as "The Lord our banner". God revealed Himself on different occasions as "The Lord our peace" "The Lord is there" (Judges 6:24, Ezekiel 48:35).
"But when the fullness of time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba Father" Galatians 4-6. Glory to God! When the fullness of time came Christ became like us took on all conditions we were in and died in our place on the cross.Don't forget Jesus was the first person to call God Father in the New Testament and it greatly annoyed the Jews because they said He made Himself equal with Father God. He was raised for our justification and has made us sons of God "For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus" Galatians 3:26. When Jesus was raised from the dead He told Mary Magdalene that His God is now our God and our Father as well (John 20:17). We have the Spirit of God that bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God crying 'Abba Father' (Romans 8:14-16). "The greatest revelation of God in the New Testament is that He is our Father! The implications that God wants you to call Him Father are astounding. Having God as your Father means He is a living personal being and not an impersonal force.  It means that you can get to know Him intimately. It means you can relate with Him on a personal basis. You might not know how to relate to an Almighty God, or a Most High One because you have never met anyone like that. But relating to God as Father has given you an earthly frame of reference to the closest and most intimate of relationships- that of father and of a son...Jesus Christ the Son of God came that we might receive the same degree of Sonship that He Himself possesses with His Father. Yes, in the Gospel God has chosen to be your Father" Dr Shawn Smith "Jesus +0 = Everything". God as your Father is aware of everything going on in your, He has placed you before His eyes and looks at you with so much delight. He sees you in the perfection of His love. You are now His righteousness in Christ. He is your defense and defender against injustice. When you live with the consciousness that God is your Father, you live in assurance and security knowing that He is always there for you.

You're blessed!
